• WA Event: From Waste to Resource - Local Government Diversifying Water Sources: On Thursday 27 November 2008 ICLEI Oceania hosted an information and networking forum: From Waste to Resource: Local Government Diversifying Water Sources.  The focus of the forum was the opportunities within local government for  utilising sources of water other than mains water. • Hornsby Shire Council and Sutherland Shire Council recognised by Sydney Water: Hornsby Shire Council have received a five-star rating for their water saving programs from Sydney Water and are contributing, along with Sutherland Shire Council, to save 3.2 billion litres of water each year.  See our partners page for more information.
